A benefit barbecue and silent auction will be held Sun. Sept. 19 at the Boyle County Fairgrounds.  The event, from 1 to 5 p.m., will feature free music and will benefit Jeffrey Guest, a former Danville High School and Campbellsville College football player who was paralyzed in an accident in 2009.  Organizers hope to raise money to help Jeffrey pay for rehabilibation and medical care beyond what Medicare will cover. Tickets are $25 for adults, $10 for children.  For full deatils:  www.teamjeffrey.com.
